Hi and welcome to Pam Macquart Art.

Creativity has always been part of my life. Over the years I have experimented in many fields, from textiles to pottery, sculpting to furniture restoration, but I would always return to drawing and painting. 

Nature provides an abundance of objects waiting for my interpretation onto canvas. Still life images of fruit and gorgeous flowers capture the senses on a daily basis. Landscapes painted en plein air provide a snapshot in time never to be forgotten.

Previous painting has mostly been achieved using acrylic paints, which have allowed me to provide great detail in particular showcasing the delicacy of beautiful flowers.

More recently I have been experimenting with oil paints and impasto style which provide a lusciousness and strength to the completed painting.
